GENTLE YOGA/CHAIR YOGA and YOGA FOR PAIN RELIEF-Teacher Donna Doren
Whatever the source or cause of chronic pain or illness, yoga can help
prevent increasing pain and the consequences of pain, as well as relieve
and help to alleviate pain. Yoga provides tools to manage pain in a way
that causes no harm while increasing overall good health. Working with your
physician’s approval as an adjunctive treatment, this yoga class will be
basic, beginning yoga, individualized, and will meet your level of ability.
As you progress and as your level of ability grows, the yoga will meet you
where you are, and where you wish to be. You will be using asanas (postures)
meditation, guided visualizations, yoga nidra, breathing and affirmations/intentions
all geared to you.
HEARTY YOGA FOR STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY-Teacher Barbara Munderloh
For many, progressing forward in life requires overcoming both mental and
physical obstacles. Hearty Yoga prepares the student to work through these
personal limitations through challenging asanas and breathwork. Gaining
inner and outer strength, patience and focus prepares a student to manage
his or her own personal struggles.
KARMA YOGA-Free, all donations given to charity
Karma Yoga means service to others, giving back. This is a general Hatha
yoga class taught by one of our teachers in our certification training course.
Any level of student is welcome. This class is donation based which means
that whatever you feel you can give for the class is accepted. The proceeds
are donated to a local charity. We are so grateful for all that we have
and are happy to be able to offer this class for the community and give
our teachers in training, hands on experience. Please let us know how you
like the class.
BEGINNING YOGA
Beginning Yoga is designed to take the student through the basics of yoga,
including complete instruction on postures, alignment and the do’s and don’ts
of classroom etiquette. No yoga experience is necessary. This class has
been designed for the brand new beginner to help them feel confident in
any basic yoga class.
INTERMEDIATE YOGA-Teacher Judi Bar
An invigorating strengthening class, that awakens your heart,
stretches your muscles and helps your practice your yoga philosophy
on and off the mat, some yoga experience or physical ability would
be helpful although not required.
UPLIFTING YOGA-Teacher Sarah Grau
Awaken your energy within for a more positive and uplifting way of handling
life’s everyday stressors and mental dis-ease. In this Kundalini yoga based
class, you will develop an awareness of your physical body, sensations and
the thoughts which accompany them through postures, breathwork and guided
meditation. This class will help you clean your mind and cleanse your spirit
for an optimal outlook on life. No prior Kundalini yoga experience necessary.
YOGA FOR BALANCED WEIGHT-Teacher Melaney Stoops
This class is presented in conjunction with the Yoga for Balanced Weight
Workshop. Yoga is known for improving circulation, balance, flexibility,
and strength, as well as reducing stress. Let these benefits of yoga support
your efforts in achieving a weight that is comfortable for you. Each class
will include yoga asanas (postures), meditation and pranayama (breathwork),
and relaxation. Class size is limited. Priority will be given to workshop
attendees.
MEDITATION GROUP-Teacher Judi Bar
If you have been curious about meditation or are looking for a way to relax, this group meditation may be an answer. In this group we will do a guided meditation which will include deep breathing, intentions, and affirmations. As you listen to the words of the guided meditation, you will picture the images in your mind, and will achieve conscious relaxation and stress reduction.
It is wonderful to be in a group with all of our guides and angels around us. We will then do a practice called yoga nidra, which is a slow paced deep relaxation to finish the evening. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket or shawl to wrap yourself in. While the practice is free, we ask for good will offerings. REIKI SESSIONS-Reiki Master Amy Govoni
Reiki is a therapeutic technique using healing touch that can be used for
stress reduction and relaxation and to promote healing. It is administered
by using “lying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen
“life force energy” flows through us. If one’s “life force energy” is
low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is
“high” we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment feels
like a wonderful glowing radiance that flow through and around you. Reiki
treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating
many beneficial effects that include many beneficial effects that include
relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. Reiki is a
simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement
that everyone can use. It also works in conjunction with all other medical
or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
REIKI CIRCLE-Free with all donations given to charity
A free community based session where Reiki practitioners are available for free. The 20 minute Reiki session is given while you are seated in a chair. If you have wanted to try Reiki this is your opportunity to do so-please call to confirm your attendance.

We can offer you one-on-one private sessions or a small specialized class suited to your individual need. We offer:
